Non- Alcoholic Brews

Budweiser Zero

An alcohol free brew with the taste of Budweiser. Only 50 calories & zero grams of sugar, for those who are looking for less alcohol.

Guinness Zero

The Guinness with everything except the alcohol. Guinness 0.0 boasts the same beautifully smooth taste, perfectly balanced flavor, and unique dark color of Guinness, just without the alcohol.

To create Guinness 0.0 the St James’s Gate brewers, start by brewing Guinness exactly as they always have, using the same natural ingredients; water, barley, hops, and yeast; before gently removing the alcohol through a cold filtration method. The cold filtration process allows the alcohol to be filtered out without presenting thermal stress to the beer, protecting the integrity of its taste and character. The brewers then carefully blend and balance the flavors to ensure the distinctive flavor profile and taste characteristics of Guinness.

The resulting product is a stout that is unmistakably Guinness, just without the alcohol, featuring the same dark, ruby red liquid and creamy head, hints of chocolate and coffee, smoothly balanced with bitter, sweet and roasted notes.

Corona Non Alcoholic

Jack’s Abbey Pride and Parquet Lager

The Boston Celtics announced via press release that they and their partner Jack’s Abby plan to make their popular collaborative adult beverage — “Pride and Parquet” beer — available year-round.

The Framingham, Massachusetts, brewery will have the imbibable on shelves this week according to the release. It is described as an easy-to-drink lager with a hoppy taste and 5.7% alcohol by volume. The team forwarded a pair of statements from Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers co-owner Sam Hendler and the senior vice president of partnerships and business development for the Boston Celtics, Jack Delton.

“My brothers and I are extremely excited to launch this collaboration beer with a great Boston institution like the Celtics,” began Hendler.
“In making this beer, we were able to work side-by-side with the Celtics team throughout the entire process, from design to naming to ingredients and recipe. To be able to do that with a giant in the sports world is a really unique opportunity for a small family business and we are bringing everything we have to this partnership and this special beer. “
“We are thrilled to announce our first ever Celtics collaboration beer, Pride and Parquet, with our friends and partners at Jack’s Abby,” added Delton.

Epic Big Bad Baptista

Big Bad Baptista is inspired by traditional Mexican coffee, Café de Olla, which is served with cinnamon and piloncillo, an unrefined sugar. The Cinnamon adds another layer of complexity and accentuates the earthy character of Mexican Coffee, but more importantly, it captures the essence of a place and its culture. As beverage geeks we wanted to pay homage to that rich tradition and offer our unique take.

Big Bad Baptista is a combination of Vanilla, Cinnamon, Mexican coffee roasted by Blue Copper, and Solstice Chocolate cacao nibs. It’s luxurious to say the least, with a pleasant warming sensation generated by the cinnamon and alcohol. Enjoying the interplay of chocolate, malt, oak, and spice is the perfect way to spend a cool evening, with friends around a fire.

Great Divide Chocolate Oak Aged Yeti

Great Divide Best Denver Brewery Great Divide Brewing Company Yeti Colette Titan

CHOCOLATE OAK AGED YETI IMPERIAL STOUT is another revered incarnation of our legendary imperial stout. A dash of cayenne keeps things lively, adding just a bit of heat to the finish. Another great Yeti? Hell yes.

Art in the Age Root Liquor

“Here at Art in the Age, we thought it would be interesting and fun to turn back the clock and recreate a true pre-temperance alcoholic Root Tea. We’ve even made it certified organic, since back then, everything was organic. This is the opposite of corporate culture. It’s a genuine experience rooted in history and our own landscape. It is a truly interesting and contemplative quaff. Certainly like nothing else we have ever tasted before. It is NOT Root Beer flavored vodka or a sickly sweet liqueur.”

Foolproof Queen of the Yahd – Queen is a truly unique IPA brewed with real raspberry. We dumped a stupid amount of American hops into this beer, giving the Queen a gorgeous bouquet of tropical fruit that is complemented by a subtle tartness from raspberry purée. This is a refreshing, delicious, and totally crushable IPA.

Ballast Point Watermelon Dorado –Watermelon Dorado Double IPA is not one to back down from big flavors. Mash, kettle, and dry hopping blend to create a huge hop profile that is balanced with a blast of watermelon. The result is a refreshing brew that is all summer and no seeds.

Ballast Point Grapefruit Sculpin – Some may say there are few ways to improve Sculpin’s unique flavor, but the tart freshness of grapefruit perfectly complements our IPA’s citrusy hop character. Grapefruit’s a winter fruit, but this easy-drinking ale tastes like summer.

Ballast Point Mango Even Keel – Our Mango Even Keel is the ideal beer for easy drinking. This hoppy, session ale gets a flavor boost from mango, which perfectly plays off the citrusy hop bouquet. With fruit, hops, and a low ABV, this beer truly is on another level.

Ballast Point Pineapple Sculpin –Pineapple Sculpin IPA came from one of many small-batch cask experiments to enhance the flavor of our signature IPA. With so many tropical hop notes in Sculpin, how could we not try adding some sweet, juicy pineapple? The combination of fruity flavors and hop intensity definitely packs a punch.

Dogfish Romantic Chemistry – What you have here is a serious India Pale Ale shacking up and hunkering down with mango and apricots. At the same time! Romantic Chemistry is brewed with an intermingling of mangos, apricots and ginger, and then dry-hopped with three varieties of hops to deliver a tropical fruit aroma and a hop-forward finish.

Dogfish Head Fort – An ale brewed with a ridiculous amount of raspberry juice. Fort has a Belgian-style base, then we follow a similar fermentation process to the one we use on beers like 120 Minute IPA and World Wide Stout. Fort is an excellent candidate for cellaring. Grab a few bottles, enjoy one now and lay the others down for a few years.

21st Amendment Hell or High Watermelon – Hell or High Watermelon Wheat is our summer seasonal beer available from April through September in six pack cans and on draft. Lindeman’s Raspberry Lambic– The appearance of this exceptional beer is matched only by its taste! To make our Framboise, we add raspberry juice to our lambic. That gives it a delicate fruity aroma and a beautiful dark pink color. Framboise is served as an aperitif, but I also use it in cooking. And when I don’t finish the bottle in my preparations, I finish it in my glass.

Lindeman’s Peach Lambic– As its name suggests, Pecheresse is a lambic beer enriched with peach juice. And this fruit lambic is a real peach! It is nice to drink at any time of day. Or on a sunny patio. Personally, I enjoy it with my girlfriends. And what we talk about is of no concern to you.

Saisons and Farmhouse Ales

Saisons are sturdy farmhouse ale that was traditionally brewed in the winter, to be consumed throughout the summer months. Not so long ago it was close to being an endangered style, but over recent years there’s been a massive revival; especially in the US.

This is a very complex style; many are very fruity in the aroma and flavor. Look for earthy yeast tones, mild to moderate tartness. Lots of spice and with a medium bitterness. They tend to be semi-dry with many only having touch of sweetness.

Two Roads Worker’s Comp. Saison

A traditional farmhouse ale made with a very expressive yeast strain that contributes an array of tropical fruit, spice flavors and aromatics. Brewed with a variety of harvest grains including barley, wheat, oats and rye as was likely the case with farmhouse brewers of yore. The result is a complex, refreshing and distinctive example of this esoteric style. Intensely fruity (passion fruit, pineapple, mango, lychee), slightly spicy (clove, white pepper)

Cambridge Brewing Company Sgt. Pepper (96 points BA)

Farmhouse Ale with Peppercorns

First brewed in celebration of our 20th Anniversary, and #23 is coming up soon – May 12, 2012! It was April Fool’s Day, 1989, when Phil “Brewdaddy” Bannatyne first opened the doors to what would become one of the preeminent breweries in the country.

Sgt. Pepper has been brewed with Pilsner, CaraVienne, and Rye malts, plus Magnum and Spalter hops. But the driving force behind this beer is the contribution from whole Black, Green, White, and Pink peppercorns. Added to the brewkettle, these four fab peppercorns harmonize with spicy hops while the malted rye and our Belgian yeast hold down the backbeat.

Boulevard Brewing Co. Collaberation No. 4 Saison

To pay tribute to our new familial ties, brewmasters Steven Pauwels and Phil Leinhart chose to create a Saison, the traditional Belgian farmhouse ale. They began by brewing two separate batches of beer, both at Boulevard Brewing Company, each with a grain bill of pale malt, oats, rye, corn, and wheat, subtly spiced with coriander, grains of paradise, and dried peels of lemons and oranges. Perle was used as a bittering hop with Safir and Saaz added for aroma. Each of the two batches was fermented with the unique house yeast from our respective breweries. The batches were then blended post-fermentation, allowing both of the distinctive yeast signatures to manifest in the finished beer. The result is crisp and bready, with a bracing hoppiness and a hint of spice lingering in the background. Join us in raising a glass to family.

Brewery Ommegang Hennepin (95 points BA)

This style is a farmhouse ale, and is considered to be in the domain of the Belgian Saisons. Hennepin is a delicious brew for all seasons, it is spicy and refreshing.

A moderately hoppy, farmhouse-style ale with a champagne-like effervescence, Hennepin has a crisp start followed by malt sweetness balanced with a firm bitterness. Hennepin has a bounty of great flavors: ginger, spice, orange and toasted grain. Pouring a bright golden color with a spicy-sweet balance of orange peel, sweet malt, hops and ginger, Hennepin makes way for a dry finish with a slight bite of ginger.

Foolproof La Ferme Urbane

La Ferme Urbaine (LFU) is our unique take on a farmhouse ale. Influenced by the Belgian saison style, LFU features a complex blend of German hops, pilsner and pale malts, wheat, rye, oats, and spelt. The beer pours a hazy straw color and delivers a spicy, dry finish. So raise a glass and enjoy!

Dogfish Head Noble Rot

This saison-esque science project gets complexity and fermentable sugars from two unique wine grapes sourced with our friends at Alexandria Nicole Cellars in Prosser, Wash.

The first addition is unfermented juice, known as must, from Viognier grapes that have been infected with a benevolent fungus called botrytis. This noble rot reduces the water content in the grapes while magnifying their sweetness and complexity. The second is pinot gris must intensified by a process called dropping fruit, where large clusters of grapes are clipped to amplify the quality of those left behind.

“This is the absolute closest to equal meshing of the wine world and the beer world thats ever been done commercially,” says Dogfish’s Sam Calagione. Noble Rot is brewed with pils and wheat malts and fermented with a distinct Belgian yeast strain. It has a spicy white wine body and a dry, tart finish.

Two Roads Worker’s Stomp

We have taken our Workers Comp saison and “stomped” all over it. Using a variant of our classic saison recipe and aging it in white wine barrels, this beer is the newest in our “Road Less Traveled” series. Majorly fruity and spicy with a hint of dry white wine notes.

Allagash Interlude (Farmhouse Ale aged in Wine Barrels) (94 points BA)

Two yeast strains were used to create this unique 9.5% ABV Belgian style ale. The first, a Belgian farmhouse yeast, establishes the flavor foundations of a classic Belgian-style ale. The second, a house strain of Brettanomyces yeast, brings it to the next level contributing an intriguing myriad of flavors including pear, apricot, graham cracker, and bread crust. Finally, a portion of the Interlude is aged in red wine barrels, which impart a distinctive vinous plum character and a drying, almost tannic finish.

Boulevard Tank 7 (95 points BA)

Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickety. Here at Boulevard we have fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were experimenting with variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a big surge of fruity aromatics and grapefruit-hoppy notes, the flavor of this complex, straw-colored ale tapers off to a peppery, dry finish.

Boulevard Spring Belle

Spring Belle Saison marries the crisp, spicy flavor of a traditional farmhouse saison, with its citrusy hop notes, to the fresh floral aromas of chamomile, rose petals, and elderflower. Late hopping with Calypso and Lemon Drop rounds out this drinkable spring bouquet.

Mayflower Brewing Co.

Beer was the staple drink on board the Mayflower. Unlike water, which quickly spoiled when stored in the hold of ships, beer contained no bacteria, and the then-recent introduction of hops made it keep longer. It was also a terrific source of carbohydrates. Men, women and children drank beer daily, and sailors aboard the Mayflower received a daily ration of a gallon.
Almost 400 years later, there is still some great beer being made in Plymouth by our friends at Mayflower Brewing. They’ll be doing our “Chill and Grill” on Friday, July 11 and will feature “Hop Chef” winner Johnny Sheehan of New World Tavern on the grill. They make some terrific beers and for that reason, we’re featuring them as our “Beer of the Week”.

Pale Ale –
Traditional English pale ales have mild malt character and aroma offset by pronounced hop bitterness. Mayflower Pale Ale is a dry version of this classic beer style. Its bready and toasted malt flavor is balanced by earthy and herbal aromas from two varieties of traditional English and American-grown hops.

Golden Ale – Mayflower Golden Ale is crisp and dry with a slight malt flavor and a subtle hop spice. This straw-colored ale offers easy drinkability for the novice yet plenty of flavor for the discriminating connoisseur.

India Pale Ale – As the British Empire expanded, English brewers added extra hops to keep beer fresh for increasingly long sea voyages. Mayflower IPA balances a powerful hop profile with full malt flavor to create a smooth brew with well-rounded bitterness. Four varieties of American hops lend a delightful piney flavor and fruity aroma.

Porter – Mayflower Porter is a rich, complex brew that is smooth and full-flavored. Five varieties of malted barley provide notes of roasted coffee beans and bittersweet chocolate with a hint of smokiness.

Summer Rye Ale – Mayflower Summer Rye Ale is the ultimate summer session beer. Brewed with pilsner, rye, and wheat malts and plenty of American hops, this beer is dry and spicy with mild and fruity bitterness.
